Deputy Town Clerk
The Town of Newcastle is opening its search for a qualified individual for the vacant position of Deputy Town Clerk. This is a full time/hourly position, with health insurance and a competitive wage commensurate with experience.
The Town of Newcastle is a dynamically growing community and the person in this position is the primary point of contact with residents and the general public. The Deputy Town Clerk is responsible for motor vehicle registrations, collecting taxes, handling vital records, and completing other administrative tasks in the Town Office. Training will be available, but prior municipal experience is considered a plus.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
The Inhabitants of Newcastle acquired the parcel located at: Estey Road (Tax Map 8, Lot 32-00E) within 21 days after your receipt of this Notice.
This real estate was acquired by the Town for nonpayment of property taxes on November 10, 2015.
Present on the property are items of covered property pursuant to Title 30-A M.R.S.A. § 3106.
On behalf of the Inhabitants and Municipal Officers of Newcastle, County of Lincoln, Maine, the owner or owners of said property are hereby provided notice, pursuant to Title 30-A M.R.S.A. §3106, to remove all tangible personal property you may own from the above-described real estate.

The Town of Newcastle has no responsibility to safeguard or otherwise preserve or protect your personal property pending your removal of it.
If you have not claimed your personal property within 21 days of this Notice, or if you have claimed it within 21 days of this Notice but have not taken physical possession of it within 10 days of claiming it, the Town may sell or otherwise dispose of it as provided by law, with no further obligation or liability whatsoever to you.
