Applicants must complete an Intentions of Marriage Form.  Please type or use legible handwriting in BLACK ink only.

A certified copy of death/divorce decree relating to a previous marriage, if applicable, should also be presented at the time of filing. The marriage license will not be processed without the proper decrees. You must also provide proof of identity via a photocopy of (i.e., driver’s license, passport, or state ID) at the time of filing from both parties.  The filing fee of $40 ($20 for each party) is paid at the time of filing.  Make your check payable to:  Town of Newcastle
