If AOS93/Great Salt Bay Elementary School/Lincoln Academy is delayed or closed, the Town Office will have a delayed opening of 10:00 am and may close for the whole day.

Thanksgiving Baskets

If you’re in need of a Thanksgiving Basket and are a Newcastle resident please come by or call the Town Office at 563-3441 to sign up before Tues., Nov. 12th.

They will be available for pick-up by 12pm Noon on Tues., Nov. 26th.

Notice from AOS93

AOS 93 is hosting a secondary school information fair on Nov. 18, 2019 at 5:00 p.m., located at Great Salt Bay Community School. All residents of AOS 93 have secondary school choice and can choose where they would like to attend school for grades 9-12. Residents who are making plans for secondary education are invited to attend. Each town pays the approved state tuition for the school their resident students attend. Representatives from area schools will be on hand to talk about their schools and answer questions.

Over 18 Maine schools have been invited to attend; schools that have RSVP’d for the event at this date are:
-Camden Hills Regional High School
-North Yarmouth Academy
-Lincoln Academy
-Erskine Academy
-Carrabassett Valley Academy
-Watershed School
-Chewonki Semester School
-Hebron Academy
-Hyde School

WE WILL BE OPEN THROUGH LUNCH AS WELL.


2020 Dog Licenses Available October 15, 2019

Spay / Neutered Dog – $6 ea. All others – $11 ea.

Please bring a current copy of the rabies certificate with you.

Reminder:  Maine state law mandates that after Jan. 31st a $25.00 late fee must be collected in addition to the applicable licensing fee. Also note the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Dept. will be notified of all non-registered dogs.
