The Great Salt Bay Sanitary District’s operations are carried out by five full-time employees overseen by an elected six-member Board of Trustees representing Damariscotta, Newcastle and Nobleboro. Their mission is to provide safe drinking water, adequate fire protection, and effective wastewater treatment.
