INFORMATION

General care and maintenance of the listed cemeteries is assumed by the Town of Newcastle which includes the cutting of grass at reasonable intervals along with cleaning of the grounds.  

General care does not include maintaining, repairing or replacement of any memorial, tomb, or mausoleum placed or erected upon the lots.  For rules and regulations pertaining to cemeteries please contact the Town Clerk.


The town of Newcastle maintains six cemeteries:

  • Pine Knoll Cemetery
  • Sheepscot Cemetery
